The village has been quiet this past week after our big snow storm. There were many people from the Valley who came up to play in the snow and the evidence of that can be seen along the side of the Control Road coming into the village. There must be at least five different snowmen that were built by the kids and their parents this past weekend.
When was the last time you made a snowman? I can't even remember back that far. One of the New Year's resolutions we should make to ourselves is to enjoy every day as if it was your last, and that could be to enjoy the snow, not just complain about all that shoveling we must do or how messy it is and how many times the floor needs to be mopped. Life is short and there is only this one time around. Let's enjoy ourselves!
