Tomonya LeGraff-Freeland, 87, a 20-year resident of Payson, died Jan. 4, 2005. She was born April 15, 1917 in Tennessee.
She was a strong woman, and a wonderful role model. She accepted life on its own terms, and as death approached, she accepted it with dignity and grace.
She is survived by one daughter, Rose Marie (Larry) Baxla of Peoria, Ariz.; one sister, two brothers, three grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren and Meghan; and close friend, Peggy Miles.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 22 in Deer Creek Village, Lot #74.
