Registration Under Way At Rim Country Schools

Registration times for the 2005-06 school year are as follows:

Rim Country Middle School

Rim Country Middle School science teacher Scott Davidson greets students as they disembark the school bus on the first day of the 2004-2005 school year. Registration for RCMS students and other schools in has begun.

Registration for the 2005-06 school year will be held in Building A on the following dates. A parent must attend with their child, so please make arrangements now with a parent to come during any of the scheduled times. If for some reason a student can't make any of these dates the school will have a registration table set up in the gym on the first day of school. However, the first day is always a very hectic time so it is highly recommended that students attend on one of the following scheduled times.

Tuesday, July 19, 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Wednesday, July 20, 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Thursday, July 2, 17 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturday, July 23, 9 a.m. to noon

The first day of school is Thursday, July 28 and class will once again begin at 8:30 a.m.

Pine Strawberry School

Registration for all students begins July 18 and goes through the start of school on July 28.

Parents can come in and pick up an information packet. Bring each child's birth certificate and immunization records for registration.

Payson Center for Success

Students, age 16 and up need to come in and pick up an application as soon as possible because Principal Kathe Ketchem will be interviewing candidates beginning July 18.

Shelby School

Registration is from 10 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday, July 18 to 29. An open house will be held Aug. 1. The first day of school is Aug. 3. Contact Carol Moore (928) 478-4706.

Julia Randall Elementary

Julia Randall Elementary School new students' and kindergarten students' registration is July 11-15 and July 25-27.

Make sure to provide the child's birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residence. School starts July 28. An open house will be held from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. July 27.

Payson High School

  • July 15: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Registration for students new to the district
  • July 18: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Registration for students new to the district
  • July 19: 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Check-in for seniors
  • July 20: 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Check-in for juniors
  • July 20: 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. - Evening check-in for all grades
  • July 21: 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Sophomore check-in
  • July 21: 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. - Evening check-in for all grades
  • July 22: 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Freshman check-in
  • July 23: 9 a.m. - noon - Check-in for all grades
  • July 25: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Registration for students new to the district. There will be no check-ins or registrations on July 26 and July 27, due to staff meetings.

School begins for freshmen at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27. Busses will run the regular routes. Busses will leave campus at noon.

Payson Elementary School

Registration is from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday from now until school begins on July 28. To register, bring student's immunization, birth record and a current bill that shows physical address.

Frontier Elementary School

Registration runs from 8 a.m. to noon, Friday, July 15; from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., July 18 through 21; and from 8 a.m. to noon, July 22.

Beginning Monday, July 25 until school starts, registration is from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration requires a student's immunization, birth record and a current bill that shows physical address.

Tonto Basin School

Registration is from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, July 18 through Friday, July 22. School begins Monday, July 25.
