Arlan Lee Neal, died May 18, 2005, following surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Mr. Neal was born Sept. 6, 1938 in Walnut Park, Calif. and grew up partly in Southern California, and partly in Gentry, Ark.

The Neals moved to Payson from Gentry in 1999.

He spent the last few years of his life making friends in Payson, the town he loved most, and caring for his father, Cecil Neal; his mother, Mildred Neal; and his uncle, Roy Donica.
