Invest In Life, Or Lose It

There have been quite a few letters to the editor lately about smoking. Time is all we have, and brevity of life is all we have, and brevity of life is a concern.

I never dreamed that life could be so short. It seems as though it was just yesterday that my daughter, Sue, was born. Time is a medium in which we all live and our choice is to either invest in it, or lose it; either to invest in it, or let it dribble away like sand through our fingers.

Sue's problem was smoking cigarettes since she was young, which gave her emphysema, which took her young life. She left a beautiful family who still grieve for her to this day.
