Stiffer Fines For Littering

With all the news lately about dumping trash in the forest, something interesting hasome to my attention.

The maximum fine being handed down for littering, according to the court report in the Payson Roundup, is $150. Generally the fine is suspended.
This might be why enforcement is not working. I am sure the last thing the courts want to hear is advice from a common citizen; however, how about stiffer fines, not suspending them, and some community service involving cleaning up the trashy areas? And publishing that information for all to see?
