This Sunday is Father's Day and my father has been gone for 13 years, and I miss him as if it were yesterday. I give thanks to my dad because his guidance has helped me reach my goals.
Those of you still fortunate to have your father, please don't forget him this Sunday. Take some time and spend it with him.
My father taught me to stand up for what I believe in. He allowed me to dream, and to be what I wanted to be. He taught me to respect my elders and to be there for my friends. He was a wonderful man who loved life.
Even though I miss him deeply, he is still and always will be in my heart.
Life is short and you never know how long they will be around. So, this Father's Day show your dad how much you love him just by spending some time with him.
I wish all the dads a very happy Father's Day. May this be a special one for all of you.
