Kenneth Knapp, 68, of Phoenix and formerly of Payson, died Monday, June 13, 2005 with his family by his side. He was born June 27, 1936 in Midland Park, N.J.
Mr. Knapp was a retired lineman for Arizona Public Service and Jersey Central Power and Light. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Phoenix, and throughout his years, proclaimed a strong faith in Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Knapp; son, Kenneth Knapp; daughters, Kim Knapp and Darlene Ledbetter; three grandchildren; mother, Adrianna Knapp; brothers, Harry Knapp and Robert Knapp; sisters, Anne Kopenski, Janet Knapp, Audrey Lapinski and Dorothy Mateychick.
A graveside service was held June 16 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
