Charles Heber Hill, 74, of Payson died June 20, 2005. He was born June 2, 1931 in Phoenix.
Mr. Hill served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He belonged to the Church of Christ of Latter-day Saints, and was a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and helped with the Payson Rodeo.
He was loved by his many friends and neighbors.
Mr. Hill is survived by his sisters: Grace Opal Smith of Payson, Edith Hill, and Marguerite Hewell Collins of Indianapolis, Ind.; and brothers, Raymond Hill and Robert E. Hill of Payson.
A graveside service was held at 9:30 a.m., Friday, June 24, 2005, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix. Arrangements handled by Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
