Music And More At Gcc


As part of Gila Community College Community Noncredit Program a number of performances and discussions have been scheduled this spring.

The college calendar for the coming months includes:

March 16 -- Author and pianist William Ippolitto will discuss the book, "Leaving on a Jet Plane," answer questions and perform on the piano. Room 301, 10 a.m. to noon. The book will be available for $10. This event is co-sponsored by Rim Readers. Free admission.

April 2 -- Gila Foundation for Higher Education presents the 2nd Annual

"Familiar Folk, Opera & Broadway," featuring Soprano Amy Chisholm, Baritone Nathan Krueger, and Pianist Tracy Perry. Room 301, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., tickets are $35 to benefit the GCC scholarship program.

April 17 -- Pianist Keiko Sato performs a classical repertoire. Room 301, 4 p.m., tickets are free.

April 30 -- Pianist and organist Dr. Victoria B. Harris performs. Room 301, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., tickets are free.

All events are family friendly.
