James Francis Whalen, 67, died March 3, 2005. He was born Feb. 2, 1938 in Oak Park, Ill.
Mr. Whalen was an outdoorsman, historian, part-time gunsmith and a patriot who served our country all over the world in the U.S. Navy as a Bosun's Mate from 1955-1961.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., March 21, at the Veterans' Memorial Park in Cave Creek.
