Robert "Bob" Lee

Robert "Bob" Lee died March 23, 2005 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born Dec. 14, 1936 in Hailey, Idaho.

Mr. Lee spent 26 years working in the mines in Idaho and New Mexico.

He and his family moved to Payson in 1982.

He served his community and touched many lives with his kind heart and gentle spirit.

Mr. Lee started and operated Bob Lee's Tree Service from 1982 until his retirement in 2004. His thriving business is currently owned and operated by his son, Dale, and his daughter, Robyn. He was a faithful member of his church and served many in the community through his business and church association.

He is survived by his wife, Lenice; his father, William Merritt; two brothers, Jim Lee and Bill Merritt; seven children, Lynn Lee, Dennis (Colleen) Lee, Brent (Jacque) Lee, Julie (Gary) Litton, Dale (Jodi) Lee, Robert Lee and Robyn (Jeb) Byers; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and the many others who called him "Dad" or "Grandpa."

He will be greatly missed by his family and many sisters and brothers in the community.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vella; sister, Patricia; and brother, David.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, March 28 at Mountain Bible Church, 302 E. Rancho Road in Payson.
