Doug Waldrop, the Advanced Funeral Planner for Messinger Payson Funeral Home, is inviting residents of Payson to come see the new columbarium at Mountain Meadows Memorial Park.
Mickelson and Ray of Phoenix installed the columbarium, which was completed in less than two months.
The columbarium is made of a highly polished granite to match the surroundings and is built above ground to hold cremated remains, providing a permanent memorial for individuals inured within. Each niche may contain either one or two urns, with an engraved plaque containing the name, birth date, and death date for each person.
This new service is offered to better serve the community and is the first of its kind constructed in the Payson area.
Mountain Meadows Memorial Park is an endowed care cemetery serving Payson since 1974. It is located about 3 miles south of Payson in Upper Round Valley.
