The Payson Senior Center serves a hot lunch every weekday at noon in the dining room at 514 W. Main St. No membership is required. Cost of the meal is $3 for members; $4.50 for nonmembers and those younger than 60.
Transportation is available for those needing it. Meals can also be delivered to homebound individuals.
Reservations must be made one day in advance. For reservations, or to make arrangements for Meals on Wheels, or transportation, call (928) 474-4876.
The menu for April is as follows:
April 1: Mac and cheese, bratwurst, asparagus, apple cobbler
April 4: Pork roast, spinach, sweet potato casserole, baked apple, rosemary roll
April 5: Baked chicken, salad, scalloped potatoes, pineapple, roll
April 6: Stuffed meat loaf, cheese-cauliflower casserole, sliced cucumber and tomato, cake, roll
April 7: Lasagna, Italian green beans, apricots, garlic bread, cookie
April 8: Baked cod, twice-baked potato, lima beans, fruit jello, roll
April 11: Pot roast, boiled veggies, fruit pudding, roll
April 12: Chicken Parmesan over spaghetti, Parmesan/ basil veggies, cantaloupe, garlic bread
April 13: Ham steak, scalloped potatoes, California mix, pie, roll
April 14: Stuffed peppers, salad, succotash, pudding, bread sticks
April 15: Crispy chicken wings, Parmesan potatoes, stir fry veggies, strawberries/ grapes, cheese biscuits
April 18: Chicken a la Mishelle, biscuits, California mix, carrot salad, cake
April 19: Sliced beef/gravy, mashed potatoes, broccoli, fruit ambrosia, roll
April 20: Meat ravioli, salad, mixed veggies, cherry cobbler, garlic bread
April 21: BBQ brisket, baked beans, slaw, yogurt, corn bread
April 22: French bread pizza, garden salad, cottage cheese/ peaches, berry pie
April 25: Goulash, salad, brussels sprouts, pie, cheese biscuits
April 26: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, mixed marinated veggies, fresh berries, roll
April 27: Chicken Cordon Bleu, red-skin potatoes, peas and corn, yogurt, roll
April 28: Club sandwich, pineapple cottage cheese, waffle fries, pie, V-8 juice
April 29: Fettuccini and chicken Alfredo, garlic roll, asparagus, melon mix
