Jimmie Jean Cooley, 79, of Payson, died May 1, 2005. She was born April 22, 1926 in Holbrook.

She lived her entire life in Navajo and Gila counties. She was good at sewing and making quilts. She enjoyed canning and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Butler of Dripping Springs, Brent Butler of Thoreau, N.M., Scott Cooley of Winkelman, and Cene Haus Cooley of Bulah, Idaho; sisters, Joann Hatch of Pinedale, Judy Finney of Show Low and Tonia Harvey of Nebraska; brothers, Neal Finney of Show Low and Scott Finney of Welton; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Robert Butler and Bert M. Cooley.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 7 at the Show Low Municipal Cemetery in Show Low.
