John C. Smith, of Payson, died April 20, 2005. He was born July 8, 1929 in Ft. Worth, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Smith of Payson; daughters, Nancy La Tour of Payson, Betty Grace Gray of Houston, Texas and Catherine Havard of Anchorage, Alaska; son, John C. Smith of Baton Rouge, La.; sisters, Margaret Jewell of Bellingham, Wash., Louise Fenaglio of Sweeney, Texas, Zenna Smith of Bedford, Texas and Bobbie Woodfin of Richmond, Texas; brothers, Jay Smith of Walla Walla, Wash. and Reid Smith of Busheville, Texas; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
