Evelyn Mae Jean Boyer, 58, of Payson, died May 15, 2005. She was born Dec. 7, 1946 in Phoenix.
Mrs. Boyer was a homemaker and an avid Elvis Presley fan. She also loved to play bingo and slot machines.
She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Vance L. Boyer of Payson; daughters, Frances (Randy) Glasscock of Payson, Lora (Gary) Secore of Phoenix, Debbie (James) Dean of Scottsdale and Amy (Josh) Boyer of Phoenix; sons, Vance L. (Debbie) Boyer III and Brian (Chassidy) Boyer, all of Phoenix; sisters, Dorothy Burns, Pauline and Etta; brothers, Dan Wilburn, Jerry Anglin, Danny Anglin, Robert Anglin, Billy Anglin, Lloyd Merrill, Billy Merrill and Joe Anglin Jr.; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, with two on the way.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Imogene Reagan; daughter, Julie Ann (in 1972); and grandmother, Granny Cordelia Salais.
A memorial service was held May 19 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
