Italian Restaurant To Help Hurricane Victims

Cucina Paradiso, 512 N. Beeline Highway, is participating in a special national event to assist the victims of the recent hurricanes that devastated the Gulf Coast.

As part of the Dine For America campaign, Cucina Paradiso will donate all money raised on Wednesday, Oct. 5, to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

"We were one of the first restaurants to be involved," said Gerardo Moceri, owner of Cucina Paradiso. "Everything from the whole day will be donated, even the employees are working for free."

Youngsters from Payson Elementary School will be helping out as well.

"We'll probably have a special menu," Moceri said.

There is no Dine For America organization. It is simply a group of restaurants, their employees and guests from across the country united in the effort to help those affected by catastrophic national events.
