The wedding

Lois Kay and Allen Darr

Allen Darr and Lois Kay dated for several years before Lois' mother intervened. To hide her from Allen, Lois was sent to a Catholic nursing school run by nuns, according to family stories.

Allen searched for Lois for years, finally finding her with the help of a friend.

The couple was reunited at Allen's 50-year class reunion in Idaho.

Last year, Lois came to Payson and now the couple will marry on Oct. 30.
