Crabdree takes the helm at a critical time in the association's history. The coming year will include relocation of the association's offices and the implementation of a new membership communication and marketing program.

"I am very excited with the challenges of the coming year, and feel that now, more than any time in the history of the association, change will be the main focus for both the association and its membership," Crabdree said.

"I see my tenure as president as an opportunity to increase the value of membership and make our voice stronger in the legislative arena as well as becoming a stronger advocate for the insurance industry and the consumers we serve."

Despite the challenges ahead, Crabdree is looking forward to serving as president and to helping "re-shape" the association for decades to come.

Founded in 1936, IIAB of Arizona is the state's oldest and largest association of independent insurance agents and brokers, representing a network of more than 5,000 agents, brokers and their employees statewide.
