Gila County Community College and Eastern Arizona College have teamed to offer several online criminal justice courses for the 2005-06 school year. Beginning Sept. 20, GCCC will offer AJS101, Introduction to Administration of Justice (section #1913). The three-credit course will run through Dec. 13 and examines the organization and jurisdiction of local, state and federal law enforcement; court and correctional systems; their history and philosophy; career opportunities; terminology; and constitutional limitations of the system.
Three more online criminal justice courses are scheduled for the spring 2006 semester:
- AJS130 -- The Correction Function, section #1870
- AJS 225 -- Crime and Delinquency, section #1871
- AJS 266 -- The Police Function, section #1872
