This is Homecoming Week at Payson High School, and the week's theme is "Music Makes You Lose Control."

Wednesday, the students will go to school in Rock ‘n' Roll getup, and will cast their votes to elect the attendants and King and Queen.

Thursday, everyone will cowboy up and come to school dressed in cowboy gear in honor of the country western theme of the day.

Friday is the most action-packed day of the week. The Payson High School Cross Country team hosts the annual "Sludge to the Judge" race. Immediately following the race, the parade begins. This will also be the place where the second-annual Tailgate Party will be held, sponsored by the PHS Cheerleaders, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. They will sell fry bread and cold drinks to everyone in attendance at the game that night.

The grand finale of the week is at 7 p.m. sharp, when the Fountain Hills Falcons (3A South) come to town to face the Longhorns.
