Health Matters Change Face Of Fire Board

The faces of the Christopher Kohl's Fire District board are changing.

Jerry Fisher and Michalene Marazza have resigned from the board due to health matters, Marazza said.

The resignations were accepted by the Gila County Board of Supervisors at its April 4 meeting. Named to fill the unexpired terms were James Oliver, who will finish Fisher's term, and T. Cline Preble, who will take over Marazza's seat.

The two appointees join Board Chairman Power Webb. Attempts to contact Webb and the new members of the board were unsuccessful.
