The Payson Pro Rodeo Committee is looking for area clubs, organizations, churches, businesses and individuals to participate in its 2006 Spring Rodeo Parade, the "Main Event."
The 2006 parade is being made possible through the sponsorship of Tom and Sandra Butler.
The parade will be at 9 a.m., Saturday, May 20. Entries are due by May 15.
There is a $20 entry fee for businesses, groups and individuals. The fee is waived for nonprofits, schools and rodeo royalty.
This year there will be a $25 prize for winners in several categories.
A $50 prize will be presented for "Best Overall," which will be the judges' choice on the entry that exemplifies the spirit of the Spring Rodeo Parade.
Entry forms are at the Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Payson Roundup office.
The parade starts at Green Valley Park, at the four-way intersection of Green Valley Parkway and Main Street, and will go east on Main to Colcord, just west of the chamber office.
For more information, call the chamber at (928) 474-4515, or contact Ruth Klaver, parade chairman, at (928) 474-8837.
