Thank You To All Who Helped With Alcohol Education Event

We would like to thank all the participants, presenters, and donors for our "Start Talking Before They Start Drinking: Fool's Day Fun" event on April 1. It was a huge success for the community and we were able to meet our goal of having parents begin talking to their children about the dangers of underage drinking. We would especially like to thank the following local businesses without whose financial and material support we would not have had such a wonderful and educational event. We want to thank:

Ace Hardware, Bashas', Big O Tire, Candle Factory, Chapman's, Chase Bank, Chili's, Cucina Paradiso, Dairy Queen, El Rancho, Fargo's, Fashions Now, Fireside Espresso, Foxworth Galbraith, Home Depot, Knotty Pine Café, Macky's Grill, Mazatzal Casino, Mountain Resources, Natalie Jetter, Payson Concrete, Payson General Rental, Payson Ice, Pepsi, Phil White Ford, Pioneer Title, Pizza Hut, Rim Country Health and Retirement, Roadrunner Espresso, Payson Rotary, Roy Haught Excavating, Safeway, Sawmill Theatres, Small Café, Soroptimist, Sparkletts, Walgreens and Wal-Mart.

We would also like to thank our partners who helped share information with our participants about the dangers of underage drinking: Allstate Insurance/Dee Wesley, AZ Liquor Control Board, Payson Fire Department, Payson Police Department (especially Sgt. Tom Tieman), Lori Martinez, LISAC, Time Out Shelter, Mountain Bible EFC, Payson United School District, SADD Students and Culinary Students at PHS, and Jim & Lori Walker of Glendale.
