1981 Ferrari And 1959 Rolls Royce

1981 Ferrari 308 GTSi

I ordered this car in June of 1980 from RAB Motors in San Francisco and took delivery in February of 1981. This particular Ferrari was a limited production model (250 made) which featured the original red color (Russo Barchetta), the same color Enzo Ferrari used on his first production models.

It also has an alloy/glass, lightweight racing body and is equipped with fuel injection. I unfortunately have relegated this great car to the status of "Garage Queen."

Truly one of best looking and most popular of the Ferrari body styles. Despite its age -- 25 years old -- it will beat the pants off of anything on the road.

1959 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud I

This is an original non-molested example of one of the few all-aluminum bodied hand built cars to come from England in 1959. It was one of the first to be equipped with the "new all-power" options which included power steering, power brakes, power windows, and the very rare, air conditioning.

The history of this car starts with its purchase by a Scottsdale auto dealer for his personal use. The car was driven for six years, when the dealer decided to return to his home in Switzerland.

He had the car crated and stored in a warehouse where it resided untouched for more than 30 years at which time I took possession.

The process of making the car roadworthy involved the basic maintenance of all the mechanical and electrical systems, new tires, and the installation of a modern sound system. The paint work is original and shows the patina of 47 years. The interior wood, leather, cloth and carpets are also original. The condition of this exceptional car speaks for itself.

This car is an excellent driver, able to more than surpass current speed limits. It's reliable and sports the classic looks that have yet to be duplicated by modern vehicles.
