Josephine (Jody) Ann Zang (Balestrere), 57, of Scottsdale, died April 25, 2006. She was born Nov. 12, 1948 in Kansas City, Mo. to Buster V. and Rose (Marchese) Balestrere.
Zang was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, a Payson town council member from 1992 to 1996 and vice mayor of Payson from 1995 to 1996.
She is survived by her mother, Rose Balestrere; daughters, Tiana J. Wenninghoff and Eden J. Zang; sons Todd Zang (Michelle), Eric Zang; two grandchildren Sage Nicole Wenninghoff and McKen'Z Stepheny Zang; brother, Frank Balestrere (Rebecca); sisters, Margaret Kellerman (Kevin), Toni Lynn Balestrere; mother-in-law, Lillian Zang; sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Arnold Goldschlag; brother and sister-in-law, Kerry and Virginia Zang; sister and brother-in-law, Sari and Sam Powazek; sister-in-laws, Elena Zang and Lynette Zang; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Michael Zang, M.D., J.D.; and her father, Buster V. Balestrere.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 29, at Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary, 12065 N. Saguaro Blvd. in Fountain Hills.
