Theron “Gayle” Manning

Theron "Gayle" Manning, 82, of Payson, died April 22, 2006 in Payson. He was born Aug. 28, 1923 in Cross Plains, Texas.
Mr. Manning served in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific. He was then employed by Mountain Bell, retiring after 33 years. He and his wife, Thelma, attended Christ Community Church and Northwest Community Church in Phoenix, and lastly, First Southern Baptist Church of Payson.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma, of Payson; daughter, Cheryl (Glenn) Wilcox; her son, Jeffrey Vincent; brother, Dr. Don (Marge) Manning; sister, Doyce (Roland) Kruse; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 29, at First Southern Baptist Church in Payson. Interment will follow at West Resthaven Cemetery, Northern and 63rd in Phoenix.
