Schools Should Survey Students About Changes

Editor,

To me, the Payson School District doesn't seem to be listening to the opinions of the people their decisions truly affect -- the students.

I think it would be awesome if school board members had some kind of survey asking 8th-grade students what they thought about freshmen not being allowed to leave campus and whether the high school should have shorter class periods. To me, it doesn't make any sense.

In my opinion, I believe the schools would improve if the school board would listen to the students more often and ask for their input.
