Due to rockslides last weekend, Fossil Creek Road (FSR 708) was closed a few miles west of Strawberry.
"This was a typical rockslide closure," stated Rob Ingram, acting Payson District Ranger, Tonto National Forest. "There was a 100-foot area that was unstable. APS has completed blasting to remove the rocks that were in the road."
