$20 Off All August Pet Adoptions

It's raining cats and dogs at the Payson Humane Society, so we're having a Monsoon Sale. During the entire month of August, we will take $20 off the price of every adoption from the shelter.

We are currently at full capacity, so if you have room in your house and heart for a dog or cat (or both), please stop by the shelter at 812 S. McLane Road and give one of these deserving animals a new home.

If you can't adopt an animal but would like to donate funds for their care, or to help build a badly needed new shelter for the animals, please contact the Payson Humane Society at 474-5590.

Cammi is a 1-year-old spayed female shepherd mix. She is a sweet, loving girl who only wants to be in a loving family with people who will care for her and keep her in a yard so she can't run away. Cammi came into the shelter in June as a stray; she is ready to put her past behind her and waits only for your love.

In another few weeks, Dandy will have been at the shelter for over three months. Isn't that enough to move you to tears? Life is easy -- food, water and just hang around. But Dandy would love to be in a home where companionship and love are part of the package. He is a 3-year-old neutered male grey tiger. We named him Dandy because it fits his personality. Please come to the shelter and meet him.

Unbelievably, these two beautiful border collies were found running as strays. Surely someone had owned them, but they have been at the shelter for a while with no inquires. They would both make a wonderful addition to someone's family. Both dogs are 2 years old and have been spayed. Please come and take a look at them

He's a really sweet fella, who we call Red. He came into the shelter as a stray and no one has come to reclaim him. He is fun-loving and gets along with other dogs and people. Red is still young and will require some training and lots of exercise to bring out the best in him. He's a 2-year-old neutered male shepherd mix. His coat is red with some gold blended in. Please come and take a look at him, he may be the dog for you.

Some kind people found me in their yard in May and brought me into the shelter. I came in as a hopeful stray, but no has looked my way. I'm doing OK at the shelter but would like a family who would love me forever. I'm a good-looking spayed 2-year-old female shepherd mix. I'm current on my shots and ready to go. Please come by and check me out.
