Cozy Corner Offers A Heartfelt Thank You

I wanted to say "thank you" to all my new neighbors in Payson for making me feel so welcome here. Since I opened my Cozy Corner Book and Gift store, I have been visited by so many friendly, smiling faces. They have all made me feel welcome and needed here. I have not been in the retail business long so the encouragement and positive feedback have been so nice to hear.

I have loved Payson all my life, but grew up in the Valley and finally was able to move here in April of this year.

There are so many people I would like to thank, but a few of the most important ones I would like to mention are my husband Bob, our friends Rod and Charlotte Ecton of Star Valley. Charlotte sorted books and alphabetized until her eyes crossed, as well as made several of our gift items. Rod assembled, moved and reassembled shelves. I couldn't have gotten it together without you. Thank you. Thank you to Mayor Bob Edward, Councilman Ed Blair, as well as the Rim Chamber volunteers who attended our ribbon-cutting ceremony, Doc Holiday and Pat Johnson of KMOG, and all of the neighbors who have sent their friends and family to us. Mr. John Stanton of the Rim Country Chamber of Commerce has been especially nice.

I would like to thank my business peers in the Swiss Village -- The Payson Candle Factory, The Sugar Shack, Chrisy's Corner, Your Silk Shop, The Payson Florist, Payson Pet Care Veterinary Clinic and The Swiss Beauty Connection for sending new customers my way and helping us get off the ground running.

Also, thank you to Teresa McQuerrey of the Payson Roundup for the great new business article. I am hoping for a permanent stay in Payson and thanks to all of you who have visited, our future looks bright.
