Dog Found Near Kohl's Ranch

Has anybody seen my owner? I'm lost and would like very much to go home. I was found running down Highway 260 near Kohl's Ranch. If you have seen me before and know my owner, please call them so they can come and get me. Call the Payson Humane Society at (928) 474-5590. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Some people like to get a dog for the tots. It's not always such a great idea, believe it or not. Savannah was too big, and as she moved around would knock the kids over, so she could no longer belong.

A true Saint Bernard is a powerful, proportionately tall figure, strong and muscular in every part, with huge head and most intelligent expression. Although strong in body the breed is never ill-natured. Such is true with Savannah.

At the shelter we have found Savannah to be gentle and fun-loving. She is not quite sure why she is here at the shelter, but would love a new home where people have a good understanding of her breed. She is 4 years old, spayed and needs plenty of exercise and lots of love. Savannah is truly a gentle giant.

I'm only 10 months old and very handsome I'm searching for someone who would like a neutered male cocker spaniel. My energy level is on the high end, so I will need lots of exercise and some training to help me grow into a great dog companion. Please come and see me at the shelter. If you want to give me a home, that would be grrrrrrreat!

Shadow is a 3-year-old neutered male border collie mix. He was brought into the shelter as a stray and no one claimed him. He is really a sweet fellow with lots of energy. He would be great in an active family environment. Please come and take a look at him, he may be just right for you.

Molly is a lovely 2-year-old spayed female Australian Cattle Dog. She is pure white except for caramel-colored markings on her head and faint spots on her back. Her white ears are so cute, with freckles all over them when viewed from behind.

Molly has been a family dog and is good with children and cats. She is protective of family and home and lets strangers know it. She is housebroken and rides politely in the car.

She is a good little leash walker -- very easy to handle. Molly needs to be the only dog in the family. She is very protective of her family and does not get along well with other dogs.

I'm Cashew, a 5-year-old neutered brown/black shepherd mix. My buddy is Chestnut; he is 3-year-old boxer/pit mix. We are two best friends looking for a home together. We came into the shelter in April as strays. We are doing better here than out on the street. We have a place to sleep and food every day. We still have a hunger for a family. One that would take us both since we have been together so long. We would like to find a lifetime of love. Please come see us at the shelter.
