Van Herrick has begun his 11th year as the volunteer Security Patrol Officer for the Geronimo Estates and Elusive Acres community. Patrol Officer Herrick has made us all feel safer as he constantly checks our properties for strangers and signs of foul play and relays unlawful incidents to the Gila County Sheriff's Office. When roads wash out and need repair, he contacts the Gila County roads department and helps us with emergency road services.
These duties, along with beginning his ninth year as volunteer president of the Geronimo Property Owners Association and his fifth year as a volunteer engineer on the Whispering Pines Fire Department keep him extremely busy around the clock.
