Under the watchful eyes of Army recruiter Sgt. White and a crowd of her peers, Payson High School junior Janet Echols takes on the boys in an impromptu push-up competition during the annual career fair Wednesday.

The contest was started to see who could do the most push-ups to earn the prize of the last "Call to Duty" Army T-Shirt. Echols beat the boys hands-down with 56 push-ups.

"This young lady is very impressive," said Sgt. White.

"I just wanted to beat the guys," Echols said.

The event provided an opportunity for local high school students to learn more about a variety of career fields.
