As one who spends a significant amount of my time contemplating the so-called "human condition," I have taken some solace in the understanding that, as a human being, I was made in the "image" of the Creator, that I am superior to all other earthly creatures, and that I rank either at the same level or only a tad below the angels.
Accordingly, I was stunned recently to read that the Creator had "cut corners" by using 96 percent chimpanzee parts in my construction.
Does that make me a "monkey's uncle" or what?
