Veteran Payson Women's Golf Association member, Alesha Calderwood, is celebrating a links feat few of her partners have ever enjoyed -- a hole-in-one.
Her ace was chalked up Aug. 22 on No. 14 during the playing of a "Blind Draw Partners" formatted tournament.
In addition to sporting the prestige of having swatted an ace, Calderwood pocketed closest to the pin money.
Isabella Sockrider almost duplicated Calderwood's super shot hitting to within 3 feet, 5 inches of the hole on No. 8.
The team of Sharon Vaplon and Shari Cody who finished at 139, also garnered tournament honors.
With a 143, Mary Cain and Jan Burns finished as runners-up.
Lois Judd and Sockrider carded a 145 to take third.
Judy Neal and Joyce Karnes' score of 151 was good enough for fourth place laurels.
