What's Up?

Q: When can we expect the approved, promised traffic signal at Beeline Highway and Airport/Airline?

A: The project has been postponed to fiscal year 2006/2007 at the request of the Department of Transportation, which is providing approximately half the cost.

Q: There is a rumor going around about an urgent care facility opening in Payson, possibly in the space that was used by Planet Video. What's up?

A: Someone was looking into the possibility, but has put plans on hold, according to Barbara Ganz, executive director of the Payson Regional Economic Development Corporation. "I was working with a client with an interest in that concept," Ganz said. "However, the project is on hold. The client may choose to open discussions again in about a year."
