The Payson Roundup would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the community.
A call for help with the Salvation Army's angel tree was published on Dec. 12.
There were 70 unclaimed angels on the tree at Payson's National Bank of Arizona.
Within two days of the published article, all the angels had been collected by people in the community, according to Jenny Wager of the Salvation Army and National Bank.
She said all the bell ringing slots were filled as well.
The generous residents of the Rim Country can still help out. There is a donation box for the Payson Humane Society Animal Shelter at the bank.
