First of all, I would like to express my thanks and admiration to Jim Keyworth and Felicia Megdal for their professionalism and ethical investigation concerning their article in the Feb. 3 edition titled "Private eye probe of candidate flawed."
The identity of the individual, or individuals, may never come to light. However, it does not take a rocket scientist to realize who would benefit from such an underhanded and despicable action.
In the past, Payson has enjoyed elections where candidates were respectful of each other. This mudslinging followed by false allegations must stop. Let's get back to the issues that are pertinent to Payson.
Mr. Edwards, it appears you have a few of the special interest groups in town, and out-of-town, very much concerned. Keep up the good work.
The above-mentioned article proved that you were instrumental and well-respected in taking a dysfunctional department and turning it around in Michigan. This is what Payson needs.
