A workshop explaining the funding opportunities available through the Arizona Community Foundation and the Arizona Commission on the Arts will be from 1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22 at the Payson Regional Senior Circle, 215 N. Beeline Highway.
Program Officer Jacky Alling, Arizona Community Foundation (ACF), and Performing Arts Director Claire West, Arizona Commission, the Arts (ACA), will discuss funding opportunities offered through their organizations. In addition, Patrick McWhortor, president of Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits, will give a short presentation about his organization's mission and benefits.
To apply for funding from the Arizona Commission on the Arts or the Arizona Community Foundation, organizations must have a current 501(c)(3) letter of nonprofit determination from the Internal Revenue Service, or be a public school, municipality or Indian nation.
