Germaine C. (Guillmot) Lee, 82, formerly of Payson, died Feb. 16, 2006 in Pottstown, Pa. She was born March 12, 1923 in Paris, France and lived there until 1946.
Mrs. Lee was a longtime resident of Payson where she was active in church ministries and worked with the Navajo.
She later moved to Pennsylvania and was employed as a ward clerk in the burn unit of Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown, Penn.
Mrs. Lee was an animal lover, especially of cats.
She played the organ and enjoyed crafts.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years; her son, Gerald Saemmer of Allentown, Pa.; daughter-in-law, Denise Quier of Allentown, Pa.; stepdaughter; Loretta L. Fox of Royersford; stepson, John R. Lee of Royersford; 10 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren, three stepgreat-grandchildren; and numerous relatives in France.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Saemmer.
A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24 at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St., Royersford, Pa.
