Drainage Could Be Problem On New Road

Yes, the city fathers are right. The new airport road is one of the best streets in Payson. Smoother road surface, curb and gutter, sidewalks and bike path. This is a well-built road, and will last for many years.

But there is one problem -- drainage. True, I have not been here long. I do know one thing for sure, when it rains, it's rain all at once, sometimes sideways. There is a lot of road surface to catch this water, and only one curb drain at the bottom. Therefore, there will be a small river washing a nice canyon to the homes below.

Oops. Our tax dollars at work. Thank you.
