Shelter Reopens Saturday

The giardia outbreak that closed the Payson Humane Society has been contained and the shelter will reopen at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14.

"Dr. (Danielle) Hettler, the vet at Star Valley (Veterinary Clinic) has told the shelter it's OK to reopen for adoptions starting tomorrow," PHS President Barbara Brenke said.

"All the dogs are well, and new dogs and cats will be tested to make sure they're OK."
