Honor Community Service Of Your Neighbors

Almost every edition of the Payson Roundup includes a "Good Guy" award to honor the thoughtfulness and kind deeds of Rim Country residents. Neighbors, friends, family and the beneficiaries of these random acts of generosity make the nominations for the award.

Now, the Payson Roundup is asking the residents of the Rim Country to look at their family members, neighbors and acquaintances in a new light and submit nominations for Man and Woman of the Year.

Each year, the Payson Roundup features these outstanding residents of our communities in its "Progress" edition.

When making a nomination, we ask that you consider your nominee's contributions to the community, personal integrity, service to others, why they are a good role model, etc.

The people who make a positive impact in our lives and the lives of others throughout the year, are the kind of people who should be acknowledged.

Share your stories about your nominee when you submit your entry -- how they have made an impact on you, your family or your neighbors. Tell us how long the individual has lived in the community and the different clubs, organizations, etc., he or she might belong to.

Use the form (in the print edition of the Payson Roundup) and add extra pages for more information if necessary. Copies of the form may also be submitted.

The nominations must be submitted to the Roundup by 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27. Drop the form off at 708 N. Beeline Hwy., Payson; FAX it to (928) 474-1893; mail it to P.O. Box 2520; or e-mail it to editor@payson.com.

We live in a great community with plenty of wonderful people who are worthy of your nomination for Man and Woman of the Year.
