Linda Brunner of Payson, died July 7, 2006. Born in Saginaw, Mich. on Feb. 23, 1925, she grew up in Windsor, Colo.
Mrs. Brunner worked with her husband for 18 years in a steel tank manufacturing company in Bedford, Ind.
After retirement in 1980, she became an avid golfer and had many trophies to show for her golfing talents, even earning a place in the record books for the most holes played (28) in a women's club championship. She also had four holes-in-one. She was a resident of Payson since July 2000.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ben Brunner; three daughters, Emily Earlywine of Payson, Kris Weinberg of Penn Valley, Calif. and Beverly Brunner of Payson; three grandsons, Willie and Andy McHargue and Jay Morgan; nine great-grandchildren; her sister, Rae Jacoby of Scottsdale; and her brother, Don Jacoby of Grand Junction, Colo.
Cremation was handled by Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
