Payson High School graduate Carrie Johnson received her associate of science degree from Central Arizona College in May. Johnson was an Honor Student at CAC, as well as a Phi Theta Kappa (national two-year honor society) member.
She was selected from the Honors Program to speak at the Academic Symposium and was also recognized as Agriculture Student of the Year.
Johnson has been accepted to the University of Arizona College of Agriculture, where she will major in animal science.
She has been recruited for the university's livestock judging team. Johnson is a past state FFA vice-president. She is the daughter of Wayne and Kathleen Johnson of Strawberry.
