Senior residents of the Rim Country have a new place to call home.

The Majestic Rim Senior Apartments is a 50-unit complex at 310 E. Tyler Parkway. It was built by The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society and The Samaritan Communities of Greater Arizona. The complex will host an open house celebration and dedication ceremony this week.

"We're about half-full, so the open house offers a great opportunity for prospective residents to visit the facility," said Lynn Dolezal, housing manager for Majestic Rim.

The open house is from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, July 20.

"If someone interested in seeing the facility can't get here for the open house they can make an appointment to see it at another time, or just drop by," Dolezal said.

She can be contacted at (928) 474-3912, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saturday appointments are also available.

The dedication program will feature David Horazdovsky, president and chief executive officer of The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society. Following the program, refreshments will be served and tours given of the complex.

The 50 units at Majestic Rim come in three different configurations:
