Coed softball teams from around Arizona are set to participate in the ASA Coed State championships at Rumsey Park.

The opening round of the tournament, on Saturday, will consist of pool play in a round robin format among the four qualifying teams.

The Chalos play at 8:30 a.m. (vs. Moma's and Popa's), 11:30 a.m. (vs. Team Koy), and 2:30 p.m. (vs. Against all Odds).

The results of those games will be used to seed the teams into a double elimination tournament which begins Saturday evening and wraps up the following day.

The double elimination showdown begins at 6:30 p.m. and on Sunday, it starts at 9 a.m.

In the opening round, the pool champion plays the fourth place finisher and No. 2 takes on No. 3.

Games in pool play have a one hour, 10 minute time limit. There is no time limit in the double elimination tournament.
