Pellet Gun Fired At Aps Workers Repairing Lines

An unknown individual shot a pellet gun at two Arizona Public Service employees while they worked to repair power lines in Pine Tuesday afternoon.

Lt. Tim Scott of the Gila County Sheriff's Office said one of the APS workers was hit with a pellet, while other pellets glanced off the bucket truck unit they were standing in around 1:30 p.m.

The two APS workers told the sheriff's office that they did not want to pursue it, but asked a deputy to stay in the area while they finished their work.

Scott said officers are not sure who fired the pellet gun, and since APS did not want to pursue the incident, he considered the case closed.

"They were a little upset," Scott said of the two APS workers.
